CPhI South East Asia organizers, Informa Markets, confirmed last week that the pharma exhibition in Thailand has been postponed to 1-3 July 2020. It will be held at the same venue: IMPACT Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.
Reason for postponing CPhI
The annual event was originally scheduled for 4-6 March. However, due to the recent Coronavirus (COVID19) outbreak in China, the event was rescheduled. This ensured extra safety measures could be taken by all the participants to avoid the novel Coronavirus epidemic. Silvia Forroova, the Brand Director at Informa Markets said that this decision was made after careful consideration of the safety of everyone, which is “integral to everything we do”. She expressed the importance of patience, understanding and “support for those affected in China, and all around the world” (World Pharma Today).
CPhI South East Asia 2020 will continue to update the attendees and exhibitors directly as well as through posts on their website. Although CPhI SEA will be held at the same venue, it will move to the Challenger 2 hall for the 1-3 July date (CPhI SEA).
